1942 Martin 000-18 in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear and no history of major repairs. This guitar is nearly all original, with the only exceptions being a replaced saddle and rebuttoned tuning machines. Characteristic for this period, this guitar has an ebony neck reinforcement. The original Kluson tuning machines present on this instrument are of a slightly fancier model which by 1943 are phased out in favor of a bushingless model with slightly smaller gears. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back, sides, and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and bridge. Scale length is 24.9", 15" wide at the lower bout, nut width is1.70", neck profile is 0.83" at the first fret, 1.02" at the tenth fret. Weight is 3.18 lbs. Comes with a modern hardshell case.
