1928 National Triolian Tenor Wood Body

1928 National Triolian wood body tenor in very good condition.  This is the earliest example of a Triolian tenor we have seen.  It is a wood body painted in the walnut finish.  The neck is the same neck that would be found on the much fancier Style 1 and 2 instruments but painted over.  It is a three piece neck with ebony fingerboard bound in ivoroid all painted over.  The guitar is all original except for a refret done here.  The tailpiece has been repaired and is designed for both loop and ball end strings.  The heel was cracked and recently repaired here.  It is solid and nearly invisible repair.  The cone and Grover patent tuners are both original and in perfect shape.  The sound is loud and full with tons of presence.  The playability is perfect and easy all over the neck.  A very rare early National tenor with great sound to boot.
