1954 Fender Esquire
1954 Fender Esquire in excellent condition. This is a very fine example of a 1954 Esquire with all original parts. It went back to Fender at some point for a refinish and what looks like a 57 on the heel of the neck which fits with the profile and logo placement. The date in the cavity is 11-4-54 and the pickup is a wonderfully hot sounding 1954 flat pole. The neck is that perfect slight V fat but not too fat 1954 shape that is so sought after. The weight is a perfect 7lbs on the dot. Very little wear on the original frets and it plays great all over. It is housed in a 1960s black tolex Fender case.
