1953 Martin D-18
1953 Martin D-18 in very good condition. A great playing vintage Martin with a fantastic sound. Mystery top model with non-sitka top (either Adirondack or Engelmann). The power and tone of this guitar is impressive, as well as clarity. Cosmetically there is regular wear with some scratches and dents as seen in photos. Two small repaired cracks on the side of the guitar, and the usual pickguard crack. The neck has not been reset and does not need to be. The nut and saddle have been replaced, and a generic soundboard transducer has been installed. These D-18s from 1953 are special guitars with a unique sound. Overall a great acoustic, comes with a hard shell case.
