1898 Martin 0-28
1898 Martin 0-28 in exceptional condition. Spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard, ebony pyramid bridge, mahogany neck, beautifully made Seidel No. 4 tuners, and a french polish finish. This guitar was special ordered with a dark top finish, an early example of factory special order options from Martin. All original with the exception of the bridge pins, the only noteworthy repair history is two long filled holes in the pyramid bridge where it was once pinned, a reglued bridge, and a small crack in the front of the saddle that was repaired here in house. All work was expertly performed and nearly undetectable. V profile Neck is 1 7/8" wide at the nut, depth is 0.86" at the 1st fret, 1.02" at the 10th fret. Weight is 2.82lbs. Comes with a Calton case.
