1935 Martin C-1/OM-18 Conversion
1935 Martin C-1 converted to an OM-18 by Leo Posch in excellent condition. This guitar was converted from its original archtop form to a flat top guitar by Leo Posch, who also made a new, long scale, 30’s Martin style neck for the guitar. This Martin was constructed with a more recent Adirondack spruce top, a hand crafted mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge. The guitar retains its original 1935 Martin mahogany sides and back. The neck has a width of 1 ¾" at the nut, has a depth of 0.90” at the first fret and 1.076” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 25.4” scale and weighs 3.84 lbs. A lively, lightweight, well balanced guitar with a terrific feeling, hand crafted 30’s Martin style neck. Comes with a non original vintage looking redline hardshell case.
