1974 Guild D-55
1974 Guild D-55 in very good condition. This Guild has had a neck reset, has been refretted, the neck binding has been replaced, and a new bridge, nut, and Gold Grover replacement tuners have been installed. All work was done in house by Tom Crandall. This D-55 guitar was constructed with a spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a three piece Padauk/Maple/Padauk neck with an ebony fingerboard featuring pearl and abalone inlays, and an ebony bridge. The C shaped neck measures 1 11/16’” at the nut, has a depth of 0.83” at the first fret, and a depth 1.03” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 25 5/8” scale and weighs 5.71 lbs. This D-55 has a big, bold sound with a nice blend of deep bass and articulate high end sparkle. It comes with a non-original hardshell case.
