1918 Vega Fairbanks Tubaphone
1918 Vega Fairbanks Tubaphone in very good condition with a gentle amount of wear for an instrument over one hundred years old. This banjo appears to remain in all original condition with the only exception being a replacement bridge. The small dowel stick metal sleeve has is cracked but functions without issue, and there is a small shim where the neck meets the body. The original Rogers calfskin drum head is in good shape. This Vega features a scale length of 27", fingerboard width at the nut of 1 3/16", thickness at the first fret of 0.93", thickness at the twelfth fret of 1.10", and a weight of 7.24 lbs. Comes with the original hardshell case.
