1930 Recording King Model 807 "Nick Lucas"
1930 Recording King Model 807 in excellent condition featuring very minimal signs of wear for a guitar of its age. This Recording King was produced by Gibson and is in all original condition with the only repair being a small professionally sealed top crack near the bottom of the lower bout. The guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and ornate pearl inlays, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 1.76" at the nut, a depth of .85" thickness at the first fret, and a depth of 1.09" at the ninth fret. The guitar has a scale length of 24 ¾” and weighs 3.02 lbs. This Nick Lucas style, deep bodied 12 fret guitar is exceptionally rare with only a handful of examples known to exist. An extremely responsive guitar with an exceptionally fine tone. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
