1931 Martin OM-28
1931 Martin OM-28 in good condition featuring moderate signs of wear for an instrument of it's age. This guitar is in excellent structural condition set up with very comfortable action, and plenty of saddle height to lower the action further. This guitar is more moderately priced due to the following: replaced ebony bridge, added popsicle brace in the upper bout, replaced ebony fingerboard, replaced tuners, Ivory nut. The whole body has been refinished, and also features multiple professionally repaired cracks, as well as a repaired crack in the heel. The tail block has been repaired, and the neck also has areas of overspray. At some point in the guitars history somebody coated the interior with a thin coating of oil to preserve the beautiful Brazilian Rosewood. All other components are original including the spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and mahogany neck. 1.83" nut width, .81" thick at the first fret, .93" thick at the twelfth fret, and weighs 4.24 lbs exactly. This is a very unique and relatively inexpensive piece of Martin history that has been freshly set up here at the shop and is ready to be cherished. This guitar comes with a custom hardshell case.
