1932 Weymann 840
1932 Weymann 840 in very good condition. This Weymann has had a neck reset, the tuners have been replaced, the bridge and bridgeplate have been replaced, and the guitar has been refretted. The original floral etched waverly tuners, rosewood bridge, maple bridgeplate, and pearl topped wooden bridgepins are included in the case. There is a small section above of the bridge where the top outline of the original bridge can be seen. The guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The “V” shaped neck has a width of 1 7/8” at the nut, a depth of 0.90” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.30” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 25.50” scale and weighs 3.00 lbs. It has a lower bout that measures 14.5” and an upper bout that measures 10.5”. The longer scale, 4 ¼” deep body, and lightly X braced top give this Weymann a big, bold, articulate sound. Comes with a padded soft case.
