1934 Kalamazoo KG-11
1934 Kalamazoo KG-11 made by Gibson in excellent condition. Nearly unplayed its entire life and all original. The KG-11 is the little brother to the KG-14 with a truncated upper bout. Spruce top with mahogany back, sides, and neck. The fingerboard appears to be dyed mahogany as well. Neck is typical Gibson proportions 24 3/4" scale length with 1 3/4" nut width V shaped profile. We reset the neck and made a new saddle as well as repaired one 4 inch back crack. Original frets are in great shape and the neck is nice and straight. Playability is excellent all over the neck. Surprisingly loud for a small body ladder braced guitar. Really fun to play with a flat pick or fingerstyle. Still has original chipboard case also in excellent condition.
