1939 Gibson J-35
1939 Gibson J-35 in very good condition. An all original nearly repair free guitar that has been played and sounds great as a result. The only work ever done was a refret by us and one neatly repaired three inch back crack. The guitar is original right down to the bridge pins. Despite all the play wear it is in remarkably intact condition. The unscalloped three tone-bar bracing gives the guitar an excellent punchy strong fundamental. Dry woody and responsive are all words that come to mind when playing this guitar. The neck has full V profile and has a width of 1 3/4” at the nut, a depth of 1.00” at the first fret, a depth of 1.09” at the tenth fret, and string spacing of 2 3/8". The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 3.68 lbs. This is an exceptional sounding guitar in excellent structural condition. Includes an older non-original hard case.
