1940 Martin 000-28
1940 Martin 000-28 in good condition with a fair amount of wear throughout the instrument. This guitar has definitely lived an eventful life and has had the following alterations and repairs completed by Woodstock, NY based Luthier, Lyn Hardy: Replacement ebony oversized bridge, replaced oversized bridge plate, replaced ebony fingerboard and inlays, refret, replacement tuners top refinish, body and neck back overspray, sealed neck heel crack, sealed top cracks and a sealed crack on the bottom on the lower bout near the strap button. This guitar has also had a tailpiece at one point that has been since removed. This guitar was constructed with an adirondack spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. This guitar has a scale length 24.9", nut width of 1 11/16", thickness at the first fret of 7/8", thickness at the twelfth fret of 1" and weighs 3.92 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case.
