1941 Gibson L-0
1941 Gibson L-0 in very good condition. These late L-0 are interesting guitars as they bridge the gap between the L-0 and 00 of the 30s with the LG-2 of the 1940s. The top bracing is scalloped and they have big round necks, both features found on the LG-2 from the Banner era. This guitar is all original except for a new saddle and one bridge pin. We reset the neck and made a new saddle to get the action perfect. Crack free guitar. Finish has lots of checking. Large rounded neck shape with truss rod 1 3/4" nut width and 24 3/4" scale length. Has, as you might have guessed, a sound like a mix of an L-00 and LG-2. The scalloped bracing gives it a fuller and warmer sound than most L-0s. Includes non original hard case.
