1943 Gibson J-45 Mahogany Top
1943 Gibson J-45 Mahogany top in excellent condition FON 2760. One of the many variations on how Gibson made the J-45 during the war years. This one is an all mahogany body, poplar blocks and lining, rosewood bridge, redbean fingerboard, mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod. Original three on a plate Kluson tuners. All finish is original. No repairs or major work of any kind done. Original saddle, bridgeplate, bridge, pins and end pin. It all there and in great shape. It has the distinct Mahogany warmth with tons of volume and a clear high end. Includes original soft case also in very good condition.
