1945 Martin D-18
1945 Martin D-18 in very good condition. One of the first non-scalloped D-18s, this guitar has very finely tampered bracing. The two piece sitka top has been refinished while the back sides and neck retain all original finish. We reset the neck and refretted the guitar as well as replacing the bridge plate and regaling the bridge. There is a steel t bar in the neck. The guitar is very light weight and has responsiveness and power in spades. A fantastic guitar for the bluegrass picker who needs the tone and power but can’t drop $40K for a prewar model. Includes non original hard case.
