1946 Gibson J-45
1946 Gibson J-45 in very good condition with a fair amount of wear for a just post banner-era Gibson. Very cool rare version with a mahogany top as opposed to the typical spruce top J-45. Tom replaced the bridge and bridge plate. Before arriving at our shop, the neck was reset, and given a fingerboard refret and replacement tuners were added. There are an uncountable but finite number of cracks on the top, back and sides that are all sealed. This guitar was constructed with a mahogany top, back, sides and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Measurements include a scale length of 24-3/4", fingerboard width at the nut of 1-11/16", thickness at the first fret of 1.00", thickness at the tenth fret of 1.09", and weighs 4.44 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a newer Gibson hardshell case.
