1950 Gibson Super 400C in excellent condition. In all original condition with the exception of a reproduction pickguard made here in the shop and an added DeArmond Rhythm Chief, this is a super clean example of the iconic jazzbox. This guitar features a carved lightly figured maple back, a solid carved spruce top, a 3-piece beautifully flamed maple neck, a 5 ply bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge.  Neck is 1 11/16" wide at the nut, profile is 0.93" at the first fret, and 1.22" at the 12th fret. Action is currently 3/32 on the bass and treble side at the 12th fret with plenty of adjustment available for those who prefer lower action. Weight is 6.96lbs. Includes original brown Lifton case which is in excellent condition as well.
