1951 Gibson J-45
1951 Gibson J-45 in excellent condition. All original guitar with the exception of a new bone saddle. The guitar is crack free and has all original finish. We reset the neck and made a new saddle. In 1951 the firestripe pickguard makes a brief return making these guitars distinctive. The neck is a comfortable round shape with 1 11/16" nut width. The original frets are in great shape and the playability is excellent all over the neck. The sound is huge and everything that you expect from a great J-45, booming low end, clear sparkly highs with lots of overtones. A wonderful guitar in every respect. Includes new hard case.
