1953 Fender Esquire
1953 Fender Esquire in very good condition. This Esquire has a blonde nitrocellulose refinish on the body with the neck retaining its original finish. This Fender was constructed with an ash body and a maple neck. The guitar features the original Fender flat pole pickup which reads 5.9k ohms. All hardware is original to the guitar. Also included in the case is a set of telecaster pickups as well as a replacement telecaster guard. The neck has a width of 1 5/8” at the nut, a depth of 0.89” at the first fret, and a depth of 0.96” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 25.5” scale and weighs 7.28 lbs. A lightweight, great sounding Esquire with a particularly nice feeling neck. Comes with a more recent Fender tweed hardshell case.
