1953 Fender Telecaster
1953 Fender Telecaster in very good condition with a fair amount of wear throughout this phenomenal guitar. This tele is absolutely killer and has held up quite nicely over the years. This guitar had a body only refinish with areas of original finish under the bridge and in all cavities. Finish was removed down to sealer coat and blonde sprayed over that many years ago. Has great patina and is a thin lacquer finish. Electronics are all original as are all hardware. Pickguard is vintage 1950s white fender guard. Original would have had black bakelite guard. Tuners are modern replacements aged to match. Ash body, beautifully figured maple neck. This guitar has a scale length of 25 1/2", fingerboard width at the nut of 1.64", thickness at the first fret of 0.94", thickness at the twelfth fret of 0.99" and weighs 7.30lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a vintage 60's tweed non-original hardshell case.
