1956 Fender Stratocaster
1956 Fender Stratocaster in excellent plus condition. This is the cleanest '56 Strat on the market. The condition is 100% original with no excuses or explanations. Neck and body are pencil dated 3-56. Neck has XA initials before date. The finish is in incredible condition with no checking or fading. The pictures speak volumes about how clean and perfect this guitar is. A true under the bed gem. The neck is near quarter sawn and has nice straight grain. It is a comfortable U shape with the standard 1 5/8" nut width 7 1/4" radius and 25 1/2" scale. Overall weight is 8.25 pounds. All hardware is shiny and looks near new. No signs of pitting or rust or even tarnish anywhere! The original frets are in near new condition. The only signs it was ever used are wear in the first position through the thin lacquer finish and one little wear spot on the back. The neck is straight as can be and the guitar sets-up perfectly. It is a joy to play with easy low action. The original pickups are strong and full with excellent snap, spank, and woodiness. This folks, is what every Strat copy is chasing. The original case with Fender badge is also in excellent condition and has the bridge cover as well.
