1956 Fender Stratocaster
1956 Fender Stratocaster in excellent condition with a normal amount wear throughout the instrument. This guitar had a body and neck refinish. Ash body, likely was an original blonde guitar as there is no evidence of any other color in control cavities or routes. Refretted, pickguard has a repaired hole from a one time electronics modification. Pickups are all original as is switch and neck tone pot. Volume and middle tone pots have 1955 dates likely replaced. Bridge has three holes drilled in it from past mounting of different saddles. Pickup covers are bakelite, pot knobs are ABS. Case is a center pocket tweed which was only available 1954-55. This guitar has a scale length of 25.5", fingerboard width at the nut of 1.578", thickness at the first fret of .813", thickness at the twelfth fret of .984" and weighs 8.10 lbs exactly.
