1956 Gibson LG-1
1956 Gibson LG-1 in very good condition. This Gibson has new tuners, the initials “C.K.” in waterslide decals on the headstock, and some neatly repaired cracks. A cleated and sealed back crack, a sealed top center seam crack, a sealed and cleated crack that runs from the bottom of the pickguard to the top of the bridge, and two smaller sealed and cleated cracks running from the bottom of the neck to the top of the soundhole. This LG-1 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. The neck has a width of 1 11/16” at the nut, a depth of 0.94” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.02” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24.75” scale and weighs 3.86 lbs. Comes with a chipboard case.
