1957 Gibson LG-1
1957 Gibson LG-1 in good condition with a decent amount of wear throughout the instrument. This guitar is in almost completely original condition but has had the following repairs: Previously mounted sound hole pickup with a volume pot on the treble side of the lower bout, pot hole filled here in shop, the guitar currently has a Fishman pickup with a bottom strap button output jack. One previously repaired top crack, and a few back and side cracks repaired here at the shop. We also reset the neck, and as seen in photos there is a hole in the headstock that may have been used as a makeshift strap string hole. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This guitar has a scale length of 24 3/4", nut width of 1 11/16", string spacing of 2 1/8", thickness at the first fret of .93", thickness at the tenth fret of 1.03", and weighs 4.08 lbs exactly.
