1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior
1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior in very good condition with a fair amount of wear throughout and a few modifications. This guitar has a professionally repaired headstock crack, has been refinished, refretted, replacement Wilkinson bridge, newer replacement Grover tuners, and a black velour overlay glued to the original pickguard. It retains its original finish and branding on the face of the headstock, original knobs, and an original P-90 pickup. The guitar has a mahogany body and neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The neck measures 1 11/16” at the nut and has a depth of 0.91” at the first fret and 0.96” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 7.5 lbs exactly. This is clearly a players’ Les Paul Junior, but a great player at that, with a comfortable large C shaped neck and terrific sounding P-90. It comes with a brown Gibson hardshell case and an extra tailpiece and poles.
