1960 Fender Stratocaster
1960 Fender Stratocaster in excellent condition. All original pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster, clay dots, Brazilian rosewood slab board, and mint guard. Original pots, pickups, frets, and hardware. Single owner bought on 48th street in 1960, played throughout with his band “The Volcanos.” Neck penciled “9-60”, and the pot codes all date to 1960 as well. The frets are worn and could be replaced, although we’ve decided to keep this one as some collectors prefer to have them original. Still, the playability is pretty nice and the weight is not too heavy; 7.6 lbs. The original hardshell case has the band’s name written on it. Reference photos for details.
