1962 Epiphone Wilshire
1962 Epiphone Wilshire in very good condition. Excellent playability all around, and a comfortable weight; 7 lbs. Frets are original, as well as Kluson deluxe tuners. Beautiful cherry finish, with two strong black soapbar P-90 pickups. Everything works gracefully and the tone is superb. Replaced bridge looks the part and works well. Comfortable neck shape, smooth early 1960s neck profile with a full 1 11/16 nut width. Natural checking all over the finish, with regular playwear. There is one repaired crack that goes from the nut to the first fret. It’s difficult to spot, and blends in with the checking and goes along with the grain. Also, the neck heel has been professionally repaired and almost cosmetically negligible. Two volume pots look to be re-grounded, but the pots and pickup are original. Additionally, the 'E' on the pickguard is a repro. Overall one rare Epiphone solid body electric that’s priced accordingly. Comes with a hardshell case.
