1964 Gibson Folk Singer Jumbo
1964 Gibson FJN in excellent condition. Crack free and all original. 12-Fret neck joint with square shoulder jumbo body, straight saddle bridge, split parallelogram inlays, flamenco style pickguards, 2” nut width on a flat fingerboard. The 12 fret neck joint moves the bridge deep into the lower bout giving extra response in the low end. We like to call these the “workingman’s Roy Smeck”. Original finish has aged gracefully, minimal checking and playwear. Tone on this instrument is great, exceptional deep bass and warm trebles that are clear and even. This does it all, accurate sound for fingerpicking with the booming projection that works well with a guitar pick. All around a gorgeous blonde jumbo with a fantastic sound. Comes with the original soft shell case.
