1971 Fender Precision
1971 Fender Precision Bass in very good condition. The Precision Bass was released in 1951, and shared several of it’s design features with the Telecaster guitar. Upon the release of the Stratocaster, the P Bass was redesigned in 1957 to resemble the Strat. This is a great example of a vintage Fender bass guitar that has love and character. Custom Olympic White has yellowing throughout the finish which is very common. Neck date is November 1971, with the tone pot dating to 1971. Tone on this instrument is thick and powerful with great sustain. Electronics have been checked over and work perfectly, with a replaced output jack that is clean and reliable. Both pots are CTS, the volume pot is replaced. Playability is excellent as well, currently this is set up with flat wounds. Bridge cover is not included, and pickups are upgraded with Seymour duncan antiquities. Comes with the original hard shell case.
