2011 Martin Custom Shop Ditson Dreadnought 111 in near mint condition with virtually no signs of wear throughout the instrument. This guitar is a celebration of the original dreadnought design made by Martin in 1916 for the retailer Oliver Ditson Company. The dreadnought initially had poor sales and was discontinued until 1931 when Martin revised the design and producing dreadnoughts under their own name. This guitar is in all original condition and has no history of major repairs. This guitar was constructed with a scallop braced Adirondack spruce top, Sinker Mahogany back, sides and neck, black ebony fingerboard and bridge. This guitar has a scale length of 25.4", fingerboard radius of 16", nut width of 1.78", string spacing of 2 5/16", thickness at the first fret of .87", thickness at the ninth fret of .96" and weighs 4.14 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case.
