1932 Gibson L-2
1932 Gibson L-2 in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear. This configuration is quite rare, being one of the few known examples of a 14-fret L-2 with rosewood back and sides. This is certainly an outstanding example of an articulate very full sounding L-2. This guitar has two very old professionally repaired top cracks that are stable. Fingerboard has been neatly re-fretted and the bridge and bridgeplate have been replaced. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, absolutely beautiful Brazilian rosewood back and sides, fingerboard and bridge, and a mahogany neck. The pickguard is original firestripe pattern, and looks great. This guitar has a scale length of 24 3/4", fingerboard width of the nut of 1 3/4", thickness at the first fret of .93", thickness at the tenth fret of 1.05", and weighs 3.66 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case.
