1937 Gibson L-Century

1937 Gibson L-Century in very good condition.  These were originally made to celebrate the Chicago Century of Progress Exhibition in 1934.  The liberal use of celluloid and flame maple make for one stunning guitar.  This is a particularly good sounding example with a solid back and sides (many are laminate backs).  Crack free and no major repairs ever done.  The treble side was over-sprayed to cover some wear and the back and sides were buffed.  The neck is V shape with a 1 3/4" nut.  The bridge is original and has been reglued.  The guitar is solid and plays great.  The sound is crisp and bright with a full clear bass.  Comes with a 1950s brown Lifton case.
