1947 Kiesel lap steel guitar in excellent condition.  Kiesel was the predecessor to Carvin and manufactured steel guitars, pickups and amps from 1946-1949.  In 1949 the name was changed to Carvin.  This early lap steel is made from black bakelite with a wood insert down the back.  The pickup is the legendary AP-6 which was used for decades.  Really a great sounding guitar with a classy look.  22.5" scale length.
