1950 Gibson ES-140 ¾
1950 Gibson ES-140 ¾ in very good condition. This Gibson has been modified to feature a humbucker in both the bridge and neck positions and the original pickguard has been cleanly cut around the new pickups. The guitar would have had a single P-90 in the neck position only originally. This ES-140 ¾ was constructed with a laminated maple body, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck measures 1 9/16” at the nut, has a depth of 0.91” at the first fret, and a depth 1.03” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 22 2/4” scale, weighs 4.74 lbs, and has a 3 5/16” depth. A fun guitar to play with some thoughtful, well done modifications that make it more akin to a cool looking ¾ sized ES-175. Comes with the original rare pink lined Gibson brown hardshell case.
