1951 Gibson L-7 Blonde

1951 Gibson L-7 Blonde in very good condition.  The L-7s from mid 40s through the early 50s are some of the finest all around arch-top guitars ever made.  They combine great tone with looks, playability, and practicality.  This one is a wonderful player due to a recent refret with medium size frets.  The bridge, tailpiece, and pickguard are replacements of the correct style.  The pickup is a handwound Kent Armstrong made by the man himself.  It balances nicely with bronze strings which is how we have it set-up.  The neck is an excellent profile with 1 11/16" nut width. The finish is worn off the back of the neck and it feels great.  A great guitar for playing acoustic or plugging in.  Includes original hard case.
