1964 Gibson EB-6 in excellent condition. This instrument is from the collection of Jason Newsted of Metallica and Voivod, among others. Mahogany body, mahogany neck brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and two Gibson Patent Number Humbuckers. Gibson records show approximately 135 of these guitars shipped between 1962 and 1966 when it was officially discontinued. Neck is 1 11/16" wide at the nut, profile is 0.90" at the 1st fret, and 1.00" at the 12th fret, scale length is 30.25". Weight is 7.19 lbs. Comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jason Newsted and is currently housed in a non-original hardshell case.
