1949 Gibson J-45
1949 Gibson J-45 in very good condition. This Gibson has been professionally refretted but is otherise all original. There is a hole worn through the pickguard, most likely from years of fingerpicking. This J-45 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 1 11/16 ” at the nut, a depth of 0.87” deep at the first fret, and a depth of 1.2” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 3.68 lbs. This great looking, well played, exceptional sounding J-45 has a warm, woody tone with a deep, nicely compressed bass response. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
