1962 Gibson B-45-12
1962 Gibson B-45-12 in good condition. This Gibson has been refretted in house and has a professionally repaired headstock crack performed by Tom Crandall. A strap button has been added at the heel. This 12 String was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck measures 2" at the nut, has 0.87" depth at the first fret, and a 0.91 depth at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4" scale and weighs 4.87 lbs. This is the rarest version of the B-45-12, made only for a brief period in 1961 and early 1962, that features both a slope shouldered body and a pin bridge. This Gibson 12 string is more lightly constructed than the late, heavily braced square shouldered versions. Comes with a gigbag.
