1937 Gibson L-00 in very good condition. This Gibson has had a professional neck reset, a refret, a centerseam repair on top, a few reinforced repaired cracks under fingerboard, and a small crack repair around the lower end pin. This L-00 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The “V” shaped neck has a width of 1 3/4” at the nut, a depth of 1.03” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.09” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs lbs. This is a superb sounding L-00 with a punchy midrange, articulate high end, and nicely compressed bass response that delivers a surprising amount of volume for a smaller bodied guitar. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
