1953 Gibson EB-1 Bass
1953 Gibson EB-1 bass in excellent condition. This bass is from the collection of Jason Newsted of Metallica fame. Violin shaped mahogany body with painted on purfling and f-holes, carved mahogany top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, single coil alnico pickup. Neck is 1 5/8" wide at the nut, profile is 0.90" at the first fret, 1.00" at the 12th fret, scale length is 30.5". Weight is 8.81lbs. Comes with a non-original hardshell case, the telescopic stand for upright playing, and a signed COA from Jason Newsted.
