1967 Vox Bossman
1967 Vox Bossman guitar from the personal collection of Steve Earle in excellent condition. This Vox is all original with no history of repairs. This bossman was constructed with a maple laminate body, and a maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a width of 1 9/16" at the nut, a depth of 0.88” at the first fret, and a depth of 0.96” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 25” scale and weighs 6.10 lbs. The Vox Bossman features a Ferro-Sonic wide range high output pickup, built-in E tuner, distortion, and both treble and bass boosters. The distortion is sonically similar to a Tone Bender but morphs into a cool, trashy, garage rock tone when combined with the treble booster. Comes with the original gray hard case.
