

1934 Recording King Model 681
1934 Recording King 681 in very good condition. This rare, Gibson made Recording King is all original. The model 681 was constructed with a flat spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a bound mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a non adjustable ebony bridge. The “V” shaped neck has a width of 1 3/4 ” at the nut, a depth of 1.10” deep at the first fret, and a depth of 1.18” at the tenth fret. The guitar is ladder braced, has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 3.58 lbs. This great looking guitar has a characteristic small Gibson sunburst and lovely finish checking. It delivers lots of volume and has a unique vintage sound. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
