1943 Martin D-18
1943 Martin D-18 in excellent condition. This Martin had a neck reset and refret performed by Gruhn Guitars in 2015 and has one professionally repaired crack on the right side of the lower bout. It currently has Stewmac Waverly tuners installed, but the original tuners are included in the case. This D-18 was constructed with an Adirondack spruce top, tortoise bound mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge. The neck has a width of 1 11/16" at the nut, has a depth of 0.85” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.06” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a scale length of 25.4 " and weighs 3.64 lbs. A phenomenal D-18 that is lightweight, clean, and has an exceptionally fine sound. The guitar comes with both the original hard case and a more recent Martin hardshell case.
