1945 Gibson LG-2 Maple Neck
1945 Gibson LG-2 with a maple neck in very good condition. This Gibson is all original and has a few professionally repaired cracks, one that extends from the soundhole to the lower bout, and another that is on the bottom side of the lower bout. The bridge has been shaved down slightly and the guitar has an extremely high quality refret. This LG-2 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a five piece maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 1 3/4" at the nut, a depth of 0.95” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.03” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24.75” scale and weighs 4.70 lbs. This exceptional sounding LG-2 has a harder to find maple neck with a comfortable deep carve and a bold, balanced, articulate tone. Comes with a non original hardshell case.
