1938 Gibson ES-150
1938 Gibson ES-150 in very good condition. This ES-150 has a replacement bridge, an added strap button on the upper bass bout, and replacement Waverly tuners. The original Grover tuners are included in the case. There are two professionally repaired top cracks, one on the upper bout that runs from the pickup to the guitar’s upper edge, and another on the lower bout that runs from the F-hole to the guitar’s bottom edge, both with some surrounding areas of finish touch up. The guitar was constructed with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. This Gibson features the highly regarded Charlie Christian pickup and a tortoise celluloid pickguard. The neck has a width of 1 11/16" at the nut, a depth of 0.90” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.28” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 3.98 lbs. Comes with a vintage hardshell case.
