1939 Martin D-18
1939 Martin D-18. Adirondack spruce top with Mahogany back and sides in great condition. This guitar has the balanced power that rear shifted golden era Martins are famous for. It has the original ebony fingerboard and a reproduction ebony bridge and saddle. This Martin has rear shifted, scalloped bracing and a nut width of 1 11/16". It has had a neck reset and a refret. The original pickguard has been reglued with a repaired B string crack. The finish on this D-18 is all original and it sports the original grover tuners. The neck measures 0.88" at the first fret, 1.06" at the tenth fret, and weighs 4.22 lbs.
