1939 Martin D-28
1939 Martin D-28 in very good condition for its age. Features a solid spruce top with Brazilian rosewood back and sides, the classic pre-war tonewood combination used during this period. Wide ebony fretboard with its original frets still intact. The neck has been professionally reset, and the original bridge has been reshaped but retained. It retains its original finish with honest play wear consistent with an 87-year-old instrument. Original tuners are present and functioning as intended. No cracks or major structural repairs. Nut width measures 1 7/8". Neck depth is 0.85" at the 1st fret and 1.06" at the 10th fret, providing the substantial pre-war neck profile typical of late-1930s Martins. The guitar weighs 4.63 lbs. Includes its original hardshell case.
