1940 Gibson HG-0 in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear throughout the instrument. This guitar was originally born as the Hawaiian version of a L-0; 12 fret-double bound, 14 3/4" wide at the lower bout. This guitar is in all original condition, crack free, with the only alterations being the conversion from Hawaiian to Spanish involving the shaving of the now compensated saddle and nut as well as a professional neck reset. The bridge was removed to reshape for Spanish playability. This guitar was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, dyed maple fingerboard and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. This guitar has a scale length of 24 3/4", fingerboard width at the nut of 1 15/16", thickness at the first fret of 1.00", thickness at the ninth fret of 1.20", and weighs 3.60 lbs exactly. This guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case.
